Dyslexia Association (Hong Kong)
This 64 hour Associate level course follows the AOGPE curriculum. The Orton-Gillingham (OG) Approach is the underlying foundation of all multisensory structured language instruction. You will learn both the structure of the English language and how to teach it sequentially and systemically to struggling readers including students with dyslexia. This course meets the requirements for the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators Associate Level certification. Each trainee will receive a Certificate of Completion from the training Fellow.
For those wishing to pursue Academy certification at the Associate level a practicum is required. Laurie is offering trainees the opportunity to complete the practicum online which consists of ten, 40-60 minutes lessons, submitted electronically over the course of a minimum of 8 months. The cost for each lesson in USD200 per practicum lesson.
