Karen Leopold, Accredited Training Fellow/AOGPE

This 40-hour Part I of the Certified coursework includes the study of knowledge of dyslexia and reading disabilities; review of basic phonology and handwriting instruction; case management and professional communications; formal and informal assessment measures; understanding and interpretation of standardized testing; student profile and matching lesson plans; knowledge of methods and programs derived from OG. The course does not include a practicum but one can be arranged on request. The University of Colorado at Boulder is offering 3 GTRE credits per course.

Certified Course Parts I and II can be taken in any order.

Prerequisites: Bachelor’’s Degree; Member of the Academy at the Associate level; letter of recommendation from your Associate Supervising Fellow
