This course covers the OGA curriculum for Classroom Educator Level (30 hours) for those working in a school setting. It will be taught in person in Apple Valley, CA, from October 27-31, 2025. This course introduces individuals to the principles of the Orton-Gillingham approach and provides the knowledge base for individuals to deliver OG lessons in small group or classroom settings. It does not include a practicum, which is required for Academy membership.

This OG training is being offered through the California Association of Health and Education Linked Professions – JPA (CAHELP). It is open to members and non-members.

Practicum: The OG Classroom Educator practicum can be contracted individually with the instructor at an additional cost. Completing the coursework and practicum prepares the trainee to apply for Classroom Educator certification with the Orton-Gillingham Academy.
