INTERPRETING PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION

This workshop focuses on gaining a better understanding of psychological testing. The class will help participants better understand the underlying processing issues of students with dyslexia by examining testing instructions such as the WISC-V and various achievement tests.  The knowledge in this class will help the attendees learn how to describe students to other professionals and be more diagnostic and prescriptive in their instruction.  This is a 15-hour course that satisfies some of the coursework requirements at the Certified Level of certification with the Orton-Gillingham Academy.

Prerequisite: None but some Orton-Gillingham coursework is preferred.
