This Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to implement a linguistic phonics-based approach during regular classroom instruction or small group intervention (Tiers 1 and 2). This approach is appropriate for all beginning readers and essential for those who struggle.

Practicum Requirements: This course does not include the practicum, which is required for Academy membership. It includes 50 hours of supervised practicum teaching a group of students over a minimum of 8 months. Includes 5 observations by Fellow or qualified supervisor. Practicum spots will be available for an additional fee.
