The Bridge Academy

This 70 hour course is designed for those who want to work with students one-to-one. The course covers the Orton-Gillingham Approach, dyslexia, phonemic awareness, phonology and morphology, assessment, syllable types and division rules, vocabulary, spelling, reading comprehension and fluency, the history of the English language and much more. Trainees will receive a pre-made binder, sound cards, and other resources.

Practicum: The practicum must be completed over a minimum of eight months with one student. The trainee must find their own student. The practicum consists of ten observations. Contact Ann Marie Harshaw for more information.
